Following Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II + EF 600mm f4L IS USM scale model, Canon HK is giving customers who purchase EOS 30D from 1 Jan 2007 onwards, this cute Limited Edition EOS 30D 1/6 Scale Classic Model (PS: While stock last). Design by famous action figure designer, Mr. Winson Ma, from Brothersfree Workshop.

More things to play with this time. EOS 30D body, BG-E2 battery grip, EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM, EF 400mm f/4 DO IS USM and ET-120 lens hood. Notice the small black thing in the middle of the box? That’s the battery compartment door!!! Remove it to insert the battery grip, just like the real thing. Such level of detail art work.

I wonder it can exchange lens and body with the EOS 1Ds Mk II + EF 600mm f/4L IS USM scale model.

Come along with the package is a certificate sign by Mr. Winson Ma, and “the real EOS 30D” serial number is printed on it too. It will be very difficult for one to sell off his EOS 30D in future. Meaningless with the scale model but not the big brother.
