It's a lovely Saturday morning, quiet neighborhood, windy weather, I was deep asleep… Till I awake by a friend's call. Oh please, let me sleep.
"Come quick, you must see this. 600mm!", he shouted.
Oh my god! The longest Canon super telephoto I ever come across is EF500mm. I took a quick bath to clear my sleepiness, dress up and off I go, 110km/hr.
Upon entering his room, I was shocked by this giganto. My first impression is, "what this big telescope doing in your room?" Look closer, amen, it is the legendary Canon EF 600mm f4L IS USM. More surprise to come. Possibly the first EOS 40D to arrive in Malaysia (minus off all those demo unit in shows), Extender EF 1.4X II, Gitzo Systematic tripod and Wimberley head. This is scary… The pictures say it all.

I don't plan to write any review on any of the equipments. Too many available on the web. Enjoy the pictures. Dream while you sleeping.
Updates: A lot readers comment the photographer should get a 1D Mk III. For your info, the owner has a few 1D body. We just happen to attach the EOS 40D since it is the latest DSLR from Canon. The minimum focusing distance for the lens with extender is roughly 5.6m. The huge leg warmer on the tripod is actually air conditioner pipes insulator. The owner has insured more than RM35k on his equipments. He dropped and cracked two 600mm, this is his 3rd 600mm, all claim insurance.
i always use leg warmers during the winter months to feel comfy.*`,
